Look up allergen information for eating out
Allergen information for eating out in Japan is scattered — every company puts it somewhere different and uses its own symbols, so simply finding it takes time. AllergySearch collects what each operator publishes itself and shows how far that disclosure goes, citing the source and the date it was checked. Where a per-item chart is published, you can look it up menu by menu. Where nothing was found, we say so, and show where we looked and where else you can ask.
Select the allergens you need to avoid. The labelling regimes shown will follow your selection.
One thing to know first
A blank cell in an allergen chart is not a legal "does not contain" declaration — restaurants in Japan are under no allergen labelling obligation, so silence is never a guarantee. Where a chart has a per-item column for each allergen, we read an unmarked cell as "not used as an ingredient" and show it as "does not contain", and each page's legend discloses that the reading is ours. Cross-contamination is a separate question the blank cannot answer, so always confirm with the restaurant before visiting.

How this is collected, and its limits
Everything here comes from documents the operators publish themselves. Every entry carries its source and the date we checked it — but documents change without notice, and cross-contact through shared kitchens and equipment does not appear in them. Always check with the restaurant before you eat.
