Allergen disclosure: Mandatory items only

Cashew Nuts cannot be checked in this official document. It answers for 8 of the 9 allergens Japan requires. Recommended items are not covered. We confirmed in August 2026 that this is the current document.

This page is an entry point we compiled from officially published information. Always make your final check against the official source.

Items this table cannot answer for

This document covers only 8 of Japan's 29 listed items. The other 21 — including Cashew Nuts, Almond, Abalone — cannot be checked here.

If you avoid any of these, this table cannot answer for you — please check with the restaurant directly before visiting.

In addition, this document's table has no column for Celery, Fish, Lupin, Molluscs, Mustard, Sesame Seeds, Soybeans, Sulphur Dioxide and Sulphites — items that EU, United States, International (Codex) require.

Notes for reading

Coverage is limited to the 8 legally mandatory allergens (egg, milk, wheat, buckwheat, peanut, shrimp, crab, walnut); the other 21 recommended allergens (including matsutake mushroom and pistachio) are not covered by this tool. This is the Monteroza group's shared search tool for all its brands, filtered here to Uotami's own listing; it does not include the Hokkaido/Osaka regional menus or related sub-brands such as "Uotami no Sushi" or "Katteni Sour Uotami" (check with the store for those). Some items may also become temporarily unavailable to check due to ingredient sourcing changes while the menu is being updated.

The source data carries no textual statement that this allergen is “not used” — it only records a 0/1 flag for each item. Reading a 0 flag as “not used as an ingredient” is this site’s own judgement, not a statement from Monteroza itself, and it is not a guarantee against unintended trace cross-contact during factory production or in-store cooking.
Show the original

This document does not state, per symbol, the scope of possible cross-contact (a shared fryer, a shared line, and so on).

Allergy notes

Using the Monteroza group's shared allergy search tool, you can check whether Uotami menu items use any of the 8 legally mandatory allergens (egg, milk, wheat, buckwheat, peanut, shrimp, crab, walnut). Unintended trace cross-contact can occur through kitchen equipment or hands during factory production or in-store cooking and plating, and fried items share frying oil while noodle dishes share boiling water with other menu items, so undeclared trace amounts of allergens may remain or mix in. Seafood-based items may also contain undeclared shrimp or crab. The table soy sauce contains wheat. Ingredients used may differ by store for unavoidable reasons. Please check with the store you are visiting or the allergy information inquiry desk for anything unclear.
