How to check with this restaurant
Wafutei's allergen chart (PDF) shows, for each menu item, whether it contains any of the 8 specified allergens (egg, wheat, milk, buckwheat, shrimp, crab, peanut and walnut). It opens from the QR code labelled "check allergens here" on the cover of the in-store menu. The chain says some items are not sold at every shop, and some items are not in the chart.

Differences between stores
We have not yet established whether things differ between stores. That is not a statement that they do not.
How to check the material

The source check date records our check on the official site, not a review of every listed value or a safety assessment. The material may have changed since. “Source date: not recorded” does not establish whether the source is undated.

Allergy notes
Cooking utensils, tableware, frying oil and batter (breadcrumbs and tempura flour) are not kept separate, and ingredients are stored in shared areas. Udon and soba are boiled in the same pot with the same utensils. Drinks are dispensed from shared spouts. The chart does not take trace contamination at the factory or in the shop into account, and ingredients may change without notice.
