How to check with this restaurant
For the seasonal fresh sweets, the official site's fresh-sweets page links a list image for each month. The list names, for every single sweet, which of the 29 specified ingredients and equivalents it contains, and says "none used" for those that contain none. The list changes every half-month, so look at the one for the period you are visiting. It does not cover the other tearoom dishes such as the shaved ice or the sweet red bean soup.

Because they do not keep, the fresh sweets are sold only at the shops that handle fresh sweets, and which ones are stocked differs by shop. If there is a particular sweet you want, check with the shop you are going to first. The food and drink served in the tearoom — the shaved ice, the sweet red bean soup and so on — are not covered by this list.

The fresh sweets are disclosed as a monthly list image. The image usually has two panels, one per half-month (e.g. 1–15 September and 16–30 September). Some months add a short third panel at the end (October's list had three: 1–15, 16–28, and 29–31 October). Look at the panel for the period you are visiting. Each sweet is shown with its name, a description of its design, how it is made (kinton, uiro, kuzu, konashi, joyo and so on), the kind of bean paste, and a field headed 「特定原材料等29品目」 (the 29 specified ingredients and equivalents) naming the ones it contains (more than one name can appear, joined by 「・」). A sweet that contains none of them says 「使用なし」 (none used). Because the field writes 「使用なし」 in that case, we judge that it answers for all 29 items, and we read an item it does not name as not used — but that reading is ours, the document makes no explicit statement about that item, and it is not a guarantee against traces from the other sweets made in the same place. The field says nothing at all about anything outside the 29 (adzuki beans, rice, sugar, matcha, colourings and so on).
