Notes for reading

Items are ordered by VANSAN's internal product code rather than by category name or alphabetically; pasta, salads, appetizers, pizza and drinks are roughly grouped by code range, but the table itself has no category headings. A dash ("-") means the allergen data for that item has not been entered yet — it is not the same as a blank cell (which means the allergen is not used) — so items marked with a dash cannot be confirmed either way. The table also has a chain-specific "seafood" column beyond the 28 standard items, but since it does not refer to a specific ingredient, we do not include it in our per-item checks.

Details

Allergy notes

VANSAN publishes a PDF table showing, for each menu item (pasta, salads, appetizers, pizza, drinks and more), whether it uses any of the 28 allergen items covered by Japan's mandatory 8-item and recommended 20-item lists. The table also has a chain-specific "seafood" column beyond those 28 items, but since it does not refer to a specific ingredient we do not track it as an individual allergen. Some items still have no data entered for allergen usage, in which case usage cannot be confirmed either way. If an item is not listed, or you have any concerns, please check directly with the store before your visit.
