Differences between stores
The material states that preparation and how removal requests are handled differ between stores.
For the regular "grand menu" chart, the same dish can carry slightly different allergen marks depending on region (Chubu, Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, Hiroshima, Miyagi), and each region is published as a separate PDF. For seasonal charts such as the summer recommended menu, the marks were found to be consistent across all regions checked, but these too are published as separate per-region files, so be sure to check the edition for the region of the store you plan to visit.(machine translation)

Please confirm at the store you are visiting.

- Notes for reading
This chart's column headers do not include "macadamia nuts," one of the 29 currently designated allergen items; instead there is a column for "matsutake mushroom," an item that is no longer on the designated list (the chart still has 28 item columns in total). Customers with a macadamia allergy cannot use this chart to check for it. The table uses only a single filled circle mark, but the document itself contains no text explaining what the mark means, and there are no notes about cross-contact, store-to-store differences, or ingredient removal. This PDF bundles two separate charts: the regular menu (effective from April 2026) and a spring seasonal menu (effective from March 2, 2026).

- Legibility notes
The PDF text is machine-readable and the simple table format is easy to read. However, since there is no text explaining what the mark means, its meaning is inferred from how such marks are conventionally used elsewhere.

Allergy notes
Sekai no Yamachan publishes its allergen chart as separate PDFs for each store region (Chubu, Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, Hiroshima, Miyagi), marking with a filled circle which items are used as ingredients in both the regular menu and its seasonal menus (spring, summer, etc.). However, the chart's item list does not include "macadamia nuts," one of the 29 items currently designated, and instead has a column for "matsutake mushroom," an item no longer on the designated list, so customers with a macadamia allergy cannot rely on this chart alone. The chart includes no explanation of cross-contact risk, store-to-store handling differences, or ingredient removal. Even for the same dish, which allergens are marked in the regular-menu chart can differ slightly between regional editions.
