How to read the documents
- How menus are ordered
- Listed by category
- How to use it
Dish names are given in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean, so you can look them up in any of those languages. The number at the left edge is the page in the in-store menu booklet; together with the category name it helps you match a dish against the menu in front of you. Udon dishes are noted as swappable for soba, and soba dishes are grouped in a category of their own.

- Notes for reading
This is a price menu that also carries allergen information, and the allergens are shown not as marks in a table but as coloured round icons listed under each dish. The colours are matched to items in a key at the top of the first page, covering eight items: wheat, buckwheat, egg, milk, peanut, shrimp, crab and walnut. The menu never states what it means for a dish to carry an icon — whether the item is used as an ingredient, or could enter during cooking — and plain udon dishes (cold udon on a tray, hot udon) carry the buckwheat icon, so the icons cannot simply be read as a list of ingredients. Nor does the menu say what the absence of an icon means. This site therefore does not use these icons to decide whether an allergen is present; treat any item whose icon appears as one that may be present until you have checked with the restaurant. For dishes where you choose your own udon or soba, such as set meals, the icons beside the dish name do not include the noodles you choose: 'Set with eel over rice in a box' carries a single wheat icon, while the cold udon, cold soba, hot udon and hot soba shown lower on the same page under 'Please choose udon noodles from here' each carry both wheat and buckwheat. Check the noodles in that lower band. None of the 20 recommended items or pistachio are covered, and cashew nut — which became a mandatory disclosure item under an April 2026 rule change — is not included either. Nothing in this menu addresses carry-over from shared cooking equipment or shared frying oil; there is no such notice anywhere from the first page to the last. Kineya does state it elsewhere: the notes printed with the grand menu handed out in its restaurants say that its udon is boiled in the same pot as soba, so a trace of buckwheat adheres to it, that fried items are cooked in the same oil as shrimp, and that the allergen information was arrived at by examining the raw ingredients while carry-over during cooking cannot be entirely prevented. Read those notes alongside this menu when you are trying to make sense of why noodle-only dishes carry the buckwheat dot. It does note that the contents of tempura vary by season, that bowls and dishes may vary between stores, and that items may be sold out. The chain says of this chart that "the allergen information is based on an examination of the ingredients", so a circle means the item is used. It also states that "our udon is boiled in the same pot as soba, so a trace of soba adheres to it, and the oil used for deep-fried items is the same oil used for shrimp" — so where a udon-only dish carries the buckwheat circle, or a fried dish the shrimp circle, the circle is that contact rather than an ingredient. Where an item has no circle, the chart does not say it is absent. The chain also says that "cross-contact during cooking cannot be entirely prevented".

- Legibility notes
This menu is made of images with no selectable text. Dish names and allergen markings therefore cannot be searched or copied as text, and screen readers cannot read them. You will need to zoom in to read it on screen. The dots beside each dish are distinguished by colour alone and carry no item names; the names appear only inside the circles of the key on the first page, and pages two onward repeat no key. If the colours are hard to tell apart you will have to read the menu side by side with that first-page key.

Allergy notes
Kineya publishes a multilingual PDF menu — dish photos and prices with the dish names in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean — in which the 8 allergens that are legally mandatory to disclose in Japan (shrimp, crab, walnut, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, peanuts) are shown as coloured round icons. None of the 20 recommended items or pistachio are covered, and neither is cashew nut, which became a mandatory disclosure item under an April 2026 rule change. The menu never states what the presence or the absence of an icon means, so this site does not treat the icons as saying whether an allergen is or is not in a dish. Separately, Kineya states in the notes printed with the grand menu handed out in its restaurants that its udon is boiled in the same pot as soba, so a trace of buckwheat adheres to it, and that fried items are cooked in the same oil as shrimp. The same notes say the allergen information was arrived at by examining the raw ingredients, and that carry-over during cooking cannot be entirely prevented. None of these notes appear in the multilingual menu described above; please check current practice with the restaurant. Some stores or regions may not carry every item shown.
