The packaging carries a legally required allergen declaration
Packaged processed foods are required by law to declare their ingredients and allergens, so you can check on the product itself.
As of August 2026 we could not find a per-product list published online. To check before you go, use the online shop or the contacts below.
The declaration is mandatory for Japan's designated allergens; whether the recommended items are listed is up to each company. Items packed to order or sold loose are outside the requirement.
How you are told you can check
No allergen listing is published for the delicatessen and bakery items made in store or for anything sold by weight. Product pages for Valor's own-brand items (Valor Select and Valor Plus) carry a section headed "allergens contained in this product", naming the allergens present and warning about allergens used on the same production line. Products from other brands are not covered by that display. In either case, check the labelling on the package in the store. What is stocked differs by region and by store.(machine translation)
